Tekoa provides many opportunities 
for children and families to enjoy our community and its surroundings.  

Tekoa has three beautiful parks, a wonderful municipal pool, active summer reading programs,  a nine hole golf course, and three churches
 who offer summer camps and Sunday school.

Slippery Gulch Celebration


Slippery Gulch is our community festival and falls on the third weekend in June.  The festival includes hometown shows at the Tekoa Empire Theatre, kid's games and vendors  at the park, a fun run, bicycle race , breakfast, parade, dances, decorations and a wonderful fireworks show at the end of the day.
